Gauri is a cow who was rescued by an animal welfare individual, from her owner after she developed an infection after delivery. Since she was ill the owner was threatening to abandon her or give her to a slaughterhouse. She was treated at a cow shelter and EF supported her treatment by contributing some funds to Ms Harvinder the animal welfare individual. Gauri made a good recovery and is being looked after at the cow shelter.
